I am (not so) patiently awaiting Summer to get the memo that it is time to move on and for Autumn to move in and unpack all of its seasonal chills. I truly am doing everything that I can to summon Fall to my neck of the woods: making chili, visiting the pumpkin patch, breaking out the fuzzy socks, and even pulling out the cold-weather clothes for my kids. Still, with a high of 90 degrees Fahrenheit coming on Saturday, something tells me it isn’t quite working yet. I’ve got one more trick up my sleeve to summon Fall and Flannel: a breakdown of 5 Cozy Autumn Romance Reads!

(Amazon).
If you’re a fan of these tropes, The Pumpkin Spice Cafe may be a great cozy autumn read for you!

2. Fall I Want: a small-town, autumn-inspired, billionaire romcom (Cozy Creek Collection, Book 1) by Lyra Parish
Listed as an Amazon Bestseller, this book is the first in a six-book collection and is available on Kindle as well as paper and hardback. If I’m not mistaken, it looks like it is also in Kindle Unlimited! 4.1 stars on Amazon and a 3.8 on Amazon, “Fall I Want is a feel-good, spicy small-town, romantic comedy with a billionaire who falls first and harder.” (Amazon). By the looks of it, each of the 6 books in this collection is fall-inspired.
3. Spookily Yours (Witches of Pleasant Grove Book 1) by Jennifer Chipman
An Amazon bestseller in Witch Romances, Spookily Yours has a 3.8-star
rating on Amazon and a 3.5-star rating on Goodreads. A “stand-alone with a guaranteed HEA”, this book is a “spicy, open-door Halloween-themed novel featuring a witch and a demon who falls in love with her.” (Amazon). Spookily Yours is book 1 in a 2-book series.
* Based on some of the reviews, I’d say that being prepared for multiple chili peppers would be appropriate if you decide to pick up this Halloween-themed romance!
4. Just Don’t Fall: A Fake Dating Hockey RomCom by Emma St. Clair
Written by the USA Today Bestselling Author Emma St. Clair, this book combines all the beauty of Fall with sports romance and rom-com vibes! 4.3 stars on Amazon and a 4.0 on Goodreads, there are plenty of ratings and reviews to check out before purchasing. Oh and, this is a closed-door romance with little to no heat for those more interested in a more mild read (Amazon). Fans of hockey romance, rom-com, faking dating, and brother’s best friend tropes, will enjoy this sweet cozy book during crisp Autumn days (Amazon). This is also the first book in the Sweater Weather collection so there are some great Autumn-themed romances that you can check out after finishing Just Don’t Fall.
5. Pumpkin and a Patch by Jennifer Peel
Written by the USA Today Bestselling Author Jennifer Peel, A Pumpkin and a Patch has a 4.3-star rating on Amazon with a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads. Listed as a romantic comedy, this book has tropes including:
